Greetings much beloved of the Lord.
I hope you are trusting in the Lord with all of your heart and not leaning on your own understanding.
Thank you for praying for us, beloved.
Pastor Bill and I just returned from a greatly blessed trip to Uganda.
We started our first day with ministering to our children at the two Saturday Good News Clubs.
It was so good to see our children after having been away from Uganda for 2 months.
I taught the morning club behind the airport while pastor Bill taught the afternoon club in Chiafu (the site of our beginning club). Miss Gloria translated and our disciples led other parts of the club.
It brings great joy to see our children ministering so faithfully to other children.
The next day (Sunday ) we (pastor Bill, Gloria, Henry and I) headed 6 hours north east to our pastors training center.
There we held a week long training on Apologetics and the Pastoral Epistles. Over 40 pastors attended some traveling great distances to get there by bus and motorcycle.
They were very attentive and had so many questions for pastor Bill.
It was a truly wonderful week of learning and growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
While there we were able to repair approximately 10 motor cycles: replacing bald tires with new, worn out shocks with new, missing mirrors, chains, engine oil and other essentials.
These motorcycles are their main mode of transportation enabling them to attend these trainings and church members as well as meeting other important needs.
We try to meet these needs every month for those attending the trainings all for under $200 total cost including parts and labor.
Our teaching and training pastors are doing a great job training pastors in the inductive Bible Study Method out in the villages as well as teaching the Gospel of John and Genesis at the training center each month.
Friday we returned to Entebbe and prepared for the 3 Saturday and Sunday GNC’s and our Sunday afternoon discipleship class.
All were well attended and children well behaved (for the most part 😊)
I taught the Saturday morning class while pastor Bill taught the Saturday and Sunday afternoon clubs and the discipleship class. He did a great job with the children.
We are planning our Christmas outreaches. This year we will be holding 2 outreaches.
One at our new location behind the airport at the fishing village and the other combining the Saturday and Sunday clubs.
We are realistically looking at reaching nearly 800+ children and adults through these outreaches.
As we have done in the past we will give a very clear message of the Gospel, feed everyone, provide gifts such as shoes , clothing, candies, as many essentials as we can afford.
Most of our children will receive nothing from their homes for Christmas because they cannot afford anything.
We hope to make all of this possible for under $5000 as the Lord provides.
If you would like to be involved in any of this please let me know.
Miss Gloria does a wonderful job planning and traveling about getting the best deals possible on everything.
Please keep her and all the Lord is doing through us in prayer.
Lord willing I will be traveling to Trujillo, Peru this Saturday to teach at the Bible college and churches.
I will also be leaving to return to Uganda November 16 through December 29 for an extended stay working with our teaching pastors ; pastors; staff and children.
We so greatly appreciate your faithfulness to support these ministries through prayer and giving.
You are as much a part as we who go, for the Lord enables us to do what we do through you.
You’re fellow servant in Christ, drew
