Greetings beloved of the Lord from Uganda. We just finished another pastors training at our pastor training center in Kobwin.
The Lord greatly blessed our time. Many of the pastors expressed their heart felt gratitude for going thru the Gospel of John verse by verse as well as receiving teaching on what and why we take Communion and pray for the sick.
We also took them through basic doctrine using Manna for Today which covers 16 most important aspects of the Christian faith.
What these pastors lacked in education and basic Christian doctrinal understanding they made up for with fortitude and hard work.
Each typical day begins at 5:30 am and ends around 9:30 pm. they all came from many miles away at great cost to them.
We are praying for a van for the center that would be able to pick some of the pastors up and bring them for the training.
Also an area of prayer i would ask that you join me in is Bibles. Some of the pastors do not even have their own Bible, they have to borrow one. About have of those attending are fluent enough in English that we could give them a decent study Bible. We are also contacting the Ugandan Bible Society to try and get some Bibles in the Ateso language.
Lord willing i will be returning in 2 weeks to conduct a Level 2 Inductive Bible Study training to a group of 30 pastors in an outlying village.
i greatly appreciate your partnership in this ministry.
your fellow servant in Christ, drew
