Greetings beloved of the Lord, hope you are doing well and resting in the faithfulness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
i just returned last night from Uganda where we trained another group of pastors and leaders. It was a great trip blessed of the Lord. This group was very attentive and eager to learn.
We took them through the Book of John verse by verse. Please understand that these dear brothers and sisters have never been taught the Word of God like this or any other way. Most everything was new to them seeing things that they never knew from the Bible. We have chosen to teach through the Gospel of John first because it is foundational to knowing Jesus Christ.
The next time they come we will teach through the Book of Genesis, another foundational book to the Christian faith, after this the Book of Romans and so on.
In the photos we have my two associates pastors David and James teaching some of the classes. They also go out to the villages and teach pastors the Inductive Bible Study Method.
Another of the photos is of 3 sisters that attended. We are able to give them some items such as under garments and personal hygiene things that they were so appreciative of.
On another note, we are moving ahead in purchasing the two adjacent properties that will allow us to plant some trees, crops, grow chickens, and possibly rabbits to supply food for the pastors when they come as well as train them in how they can do the same thing in their villages to provide an income for themselves and their families.
We also want these properties so we can also start a Bible school to bring young men in for a year at a time and train them to become pastors and work with the pastors that will continue coming for training. The need is great to train young men and pastors in the way of the Lord so they may feed the flock of God.
Please pray with us on these things as well as constructing a wall around the properties to protect the trees and crops from wandering cows and theft.
i am scheduled to return June 3 to train another group of pastors. i would appreciate your prayers in all of these matters.
your fellow servant in Christ, drew
